Center for Teaching & Learning

The 1st Annual Teaching and Learning Conference at Utah Tech University

April 10, 2015

Theme: Effective, Efficient, and Engaging Learning

On April 10, 2015 The Center for Teaching & Learning and the Teaching and Learning Committee joined together to offer the 1st Annual Teaching and Learning Conference at Utah Tech University. The purpose of the conference was to provide an opportunity for DSU faculty and staff to share and learn new teaching and learning best practices, innovations, and lessons learned to promote the scholarship of teaching and learning on campus. The response was amazing! We had 30 presentations scheduled over the course of the conference, with some faculty members giving two or three presentations. We were privileged to have Dr. David Merrill present as the keynote speaker. One hundred fifty faculty and staff joined us throughout the day to listen to and learn from their colleagues. We know that many faculty wished to attend, but due to scheduling conflicts, were unable to attend. For the benefit of those who could not attend and those that would like a refresher on the conference, below is the schedule of events with videos for each presentation. Unfortunately the roundtable session could not be recorded, however we were able to include any handouts provided. Please enjoy the videos and presentations put together by the great faculty and staff at Utah Tech University.
