The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) announces The Grant for Active Innovation with New Software (GAINS), to increase utilization of the upgraded classrooms. Faculty have this exciting opportunity to develop innovative teaching ideas using new software. The grant will award up to $10,000 towards software that utilizes the digital transformation in the classrooms.
The primary purpose is for you to be innovative in creating more active, applied or authentic learning opportunities in your courses. Ideally, this would be accomplished using the new classroom technology and Mersive Solstice software in the classrooms, but it is not a requirement for receiving the grant. This grant will pay up to one credit hour of principal investor compensation while you learn and incorporate innovative activities for your students using the Mersive Solstice active learning tool.
